Margaret Thatcher on Capitalism and Freedom
Summary
A free society is not just economic freedom but also freedom of ideas. When there is no centralized control of the “correct view”, we are free to pursue our own ideas and beliefs. We are even free to share and challenge and engage others on their views. This is freedom at work. Establish your convictions and learn them well enough to know you are right, or brave enough to discover you are wrong. You are only allowed to do this in a free society without central control.
